I could strongly relate several concepts mentioned in this
talk that have the potential to really connect with this first assignment. During
class it was mentioned that one of the objectives of designing this cereal box
was to create meaning. I understood this more when exposed to the difference in
expression through the “no parking” example. I also loved what he mentioned
towards the end of his talk. He said that this isn’t life or death, so why not
experiment and play as well as put yourself into the work. This view on design
really inspired me and the message fits perfectly with this beginning
assignment of exploration.
